I went on my own roadtrip adventure starting in Christchurch in the South Island, driving down to Milford sounds and then all the way up crossing through to the North Island and ending in Auckland. There were so many must see stops along the way that created so many unique experiences for me. This trip was one of my greatest adventures and I would highly recommend for everyone to add this to their bucket list.
